For 75 years, Ejendals has been at the forefront of workplace safety, developing innovative hand and foot protection solutions. Our journey began in 1949 when Valfrid Ejendal founded the company in Leksand, Sweden, producing high-quality work gloves for local industries. Over the years, Ejendals has evolved, expanding both its product range and global reach while staying true to its commitment to safety.
By the 1960s, growing demand led us to expand production overseas while maintaining research and development in Sweden and Finland. In the 1980s, we added protective footwear to our portfolio, and the 1990s saw rapid growth with a larger distributor network and increased sales to industrial clients.
In 2004, we took a major step beyond Sweden's borders, establishing ourselves in Norway and launching the innovative Tegera Pro collection. The acquisition of the Finnish shoe brand JALAS in 2008 strengthened our focus on hand and foot protection, forming the Ejendals Group.
We continued to innovate, introducing groundbreaking products like the Jalas Exalter line in 2006 and expanding our presence across Europe by 2020. Recent launches include the Jalas Tempus, Jalas TIO, and the Tegera 8846, the world’s thinnest cut-resistant glove.
