Do you need S3 or S1P safety rating?
Do you need work shoes with the safety rating S3? Or will a safety shoe with the safety rating S1P suit your needs better?
You might be familiar with the safety rating called S1.
S1P has the same safety features as S1 which are:
- Protective toe cap
- Mandatory slip resistance
- Closed seat region (fully enclosed heel)
- Electrical resistence
- Energy absorbtion under the heel
But S1P also has:
Anti puncture protection
Anti puncture protection means that the safety shoe has nail penetration protection. So, that you don´t have to worry about stepping on nails and other sharp things.
